The lecture will provide tips on how to examine an antique piece of
furniture – where and what to look for… Introduction to the materials and
techniques used in certain periods (woods, venires, screws, upholstery
etc.) The lecture will also discuss the identification of wood wear, worm
holes (real and fake), and more.
